East face of Blencathra
East face of Blencathra
The higher Lakeland fells can resemble Alpine giants in the right conditions - here Blencathra made a stunning sight from the summit of Bannerdale Crags. Foule Crag (845 m) is the central peak, with the highest summit, Hallsfell Top (868 m) to the left. Sharp Edge is in the middle in this view.
