Blacknore Point Lighthouse
The Blacknore Point Lighthouse overlooks the Bristol Channel and Severn estuary. It was built by Trinity House to aid shipping as it approached the docks at Avonmouth and the River Severn. Built in 1894, it was converted to automatic electric operation in 1941.
