The Ridley Building is named after Matthew White Ridley, the 3rd Viscount Ridley, who was Chairman of the Council of Newcastle University from 1963 to 1964. The building has two large lecture theatres and several classrooms and is used by the School of Biology, the School of Marine Science and Technology, and the School of Psychology Link
