The Dickleburgh Church Rooms
A medieval guildhall and townhouse once used to stand on this site immediately west of All Saints church >
Link. It was later replaced by a boy's school, built in 1814 >
Link. A girl's wing was added in 1842. At that time the children were separated by gender and there were two different entrances, one marked 'Boys', the other 'Girls' >
Link. The school was enlarged in 1871/72 and in 1915 housed 200 children. It closed when a new village school was built in 1985. In 1998 the church purchased the former school building and converted it to the Dickleburgh Church Rooms.
