This ruined building is shown on the maps as a disused mill, and is listed as "Canonsleigh Priory Mill", an understandable assumption as a stream passes directly underneath. There now seems to be a consensus of opinion that it was the latrine block for the Augustinian Abbey of Canonsleigh Link
