Despite looking older, the structure 10 metre high structure was only built in 2004 in the style of a look out tower on the newly created country park. There is a small museum/gallery inside.

Found at the bottom of a section of the White Cliffs of Dover to the West of Dover, the park was created using 4.9 million cubic metres of chalk marl from the Channel Tunnel excavations.

The park is accessed by car, foot or bicycle through a dark narrow tunnel off the A20.
