TM3198 : Observing the heavens

taken 14 years ago, near to Seething, Norfolk, England

Observing the heavens
Observing the heavens
Actually me, having a look through my binoculars at the Moon and Venus.
I went out to see the rather red sunset on the 17th April caused by the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland. Although not visible here the ash and sulphuric compounds make a purple layer not usually seen. Also note no plane trails as the air is free of aircraft.
