Boats on River Rother
The boats have recently been brought out for the warmer months. The River here determines the Kent and East Sussex border and is viewed from the East Sussex side.

During the spring and summer the Dannie Lee in the foreground takes visitors from here along the River Rother about 3-4 miles East to TQ7825 : Bodiam Castle, Bodiam, East Sussex. The trip run by The Bodiam Ferry Company is a 90 minute return journey and in 2010 cost 10 per adult.
River Rother
The River Rother runs for 35 miles from Rotherfield, East Sussex, entering Kent after Bodiam where it follows the county border to Wittersham, where it rejoins East Sussex to the mouth at Rye.

There are two other River Rothers in Yorkshire and in Hampshire to West Sussex.
