The River Carron, as seen from a bridge
The metal bridge from which this picture was taken is located on the Old Railway Line Path: NS8183 : The Old Railway Line Path.

The building in the distance is called Planting Mill; it retains the name of an older building that was at the same location. The latter was just one of three mills (shown on the first-edition OS map) in that area: a planting mill, corn mill, and lint mill; compare LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) (at Canmore), on Denovan Mill.
The Old Railway Line Path

The route follows the course of the former Ingliston branch line; for details, see NS8182 : Railway bridge at Denny.
