Jordans: The Mayflower Barn
Jordans: The Mayflower Barn
This is a timber-framed and weather-boarded barn dating from the 17th century with two wagon entries on this, the southern elevation. It is held by some to incorporate timbers from the Mayflower in which the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for New England in 1620, hence the name. It is a Grade II listed structure, on the east side of Jordans Lane, just up the hill northwards from SU9791 : Jordans Quaker Meeting House (1).
