At first glance I would suggest that what we are looking at is an intertidal wave-cut platform below the cliffs at Dunbar. However published sources explain that the coastline at Dunbar exhibits evidence of several different shorelines and sea levels from different periods in geological history. I would therefore hesitate to offer a definite interpretation of this view.
