"Leary", a replica "De Winton style" vertical boiler locomotive, owned and built by Ffestiniog Railway volunteers, made its first public appearance at the "Quirks and Curiosities" weekend. The station sign, and colourful flower bed, will disappear with plans to slew the tracks towards the sea, in order to accommodate an island platform for the Welsh Highland Railway, when services commence in 2011.
