The School House and St Barnabas's Church, Ranmore
Both buildings were built in 1859 by Sir George Gilbert Scott, for Henry Cubitt, Lord Ashcombe, who was the then owner of the Denbies Estate.

The School House was built as a school for the children of estate workers. It was extended in 1909, but eventually closed in 1972 and has now been converted to houses. It could house up to 124 children. The building is grade II listed - for listing particulars see LinkExternal link.
