Trinity House boundary marker, Skokholm
This concrete post, above The Quarry, is inscribed near the top with the letters TH. It is one of a number of markers which delineate the boundary of the Trinity House-owned part of Skokholm, around the lighthouse. Although most of the island was purchased from the Dale Castle Estate in 2006 by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, a small part, some 7.16 acres, remains owned by the Corporation of Trinity House. This area includes a helicopter landing pad and some sheds built into a rock outcrop.
