Filming the battle scene for Robin Hood on Freshwater West
The beach at Freshwater West was used as the location for filming the French invasion and battle at the end of Ridley Scott's film Robin Hood. The cliffs above the beach seen in the film scene have been superimposed and were filmed at St. Govan's Head SR9692. See SR9693 : The English army arriving for the battle.
