The building was a Particular Baptist Chapel, and is dated 1777 over the door to the right. It was later called Hebden Hall, and has been the offices of the local newspaper and later an antiques shop. It has a remarkable sundial, see SD9927 : Sundial on the Arts Centre building, Hebden Bridge.
