St Mary's church in Rougham - war memorial
The church of St Mary > Link dates mainly from the 13th century, the tower was added a century later. The original north aisle was demolished in the 1700s and replaced by a new one in 1913. The church still houses the original C14 font > Link. On the south wall of the chancel a C15 carved panel > Link depicting saints and angels can be seen. The perhaps most noteworthy features are the 15th century figure brasses > Link commemorating members of the Yelverton family.
