Brodie Castle
Brodie Castle
Brodie is a typical C16 lime-harled Z plan tower house with ornate corbelled battlements and bartizans. It was attacked in 1645 and burnt, but was later rebuilt. Thirty-five generations of the Brodie family have lived in the castle, although today the building is administered on behalf of the nation by the National Trust for Scotland.
