Weir on the River Trent
Weir on the River Trent
The river is split off in to several channels as it flows through Burton. This channel and weir feeds water to Burton Flour Mills. There have been flour mills on this site since Anglo-Saxon times. The current buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries.
