NS8394 : Bonded warehouses

taken 13 years ago, near to Cambus, Clackmannanshire, Great Britain

Bonded warehouses.
Bonded warehouses.
The blackness on everything gives the game away. Bonded warehouse belonging to Diageo (once Guinness and Distillers and a very big operator in the bevvy world). The black stuff is a fungus living off the alcohol in the air, evaporating from all the stored whisky. There is a strong smell of alcohol, so the fungus will be well fed.
