The former Kings Head pub, 28 High Street
This old building, on the corner of Church Lane and High Street, was for over 200 years the Kings Head public house. It seems to have opened in the 1770's as a pub or tavern, and continued up to about 1999, when sadly like so many others it closed. It is now a private house, but currently it retains its sign.
