Although heavily eroded, the carvings of four stick-bodied animals on the flat sandstone face to the east of the rock shelter, below the massive cliffs of Goat Crag, can be readily seen. If they are truly of prehistoric age, they are some of the few representative carvings of this sort to be found in the UK Link
