Hut Circles (5)
Just across the road from the car park for Ellin's Tower are the remains of over 50 prehistoric buildings, sometimes referred to as hut circles. They date from about 2000 years ago, and they served as houses, barns, byres and stores. The surrounding land was cultivated. The on-site information board calls the site Clwster Cytiau Mynydd Caergybi but it is named on the maps as Cytiau'r Gwyddelod. This is a basin in the floor of one of the huts.
