Lindisfarne Priory
Lindisfarne Priory
Looking up at the Rainbow Arch - a gravity defying structure that is testament to the skills of the 12th century stonemasons who built it. The priory was abandoned in 1537 - a victim of Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries.
