taken 19 years ago, near to South Hinksey, Oxfordshire, England

Donnington Bridge, Oxford
Donnington Bridge, Oxford
A reinforced concrete bridge, span 170 feet, designed by R Travers Morgan & Partners. The road across it links the Abingdon Road at New Hinksey to the Iffley Road. See SP5204 : Donnington Bridge, Oxford, from downstream. for another view. Visible through it on the left is the Riverside Centre, an education centre running mainly canoeing activities, see LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . On the right is City of Oxford Rowing Club. The graffito underneath gets overpainted, usually to support college rowing clubs - see the alleged.org.uk website LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) for some earlier artistic examples.
