Strangers Hall Undercroft
Strangers Hall Undercroft
A view of the 12th Century undercroft, this was the footprint for the house, throughout the years the building has been extended and altered. This example is one of the best preserved in Norwich.

Home to wealthy merchants and Mayors when Norwich was in its heyday, this beautifully restored building dates back to 1320. See the magnificent stone-vaulted undercroft, the Tudor great hall and fine Georgian dining room along with kitchen with its splendid displays of food and household implements.
