Looking down on Wansborough Papermill
Looking down on Wansborough Papermill
Taken from the B3191 Watchet to Blue Anchor road. This used to be a Reed & Smith mill producing quality & protective papers from esparto grass and woodpulp. Now owned by St. Regis, it recycles corrugated cardboard and similar materials. Note the tautliners unloading cardboard bales. St. Decuman's Church is on the hill behind, with a disused papermill chimney to its left.(Demolished 2011, as it was becoming a potential safety hazard.)
