Looking across the junction of Murray Street, Cargate Hill to the left, and John Street ahead. The modern tourist information office in John Street stands in front of the Evron Centre, "an attractive multi-purpose venue offering a range of facilities for both businesses and the community." LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) Previously, between 1904 and 1969, the building was a convent school named after 'The Sisters of Evron', an order of nuns from Evron near Le Mans, France.
