A grand Victorian edifice. Originally built by the Southwark and Vauxhall Water Company, now run by Thames Water. A grade II* listed building.
Streatham Pumping Station :: TQ2971

The pumping station was constructed for the Southwark and Vauxhall Water Company in 1888. The company was formed by the merger of the Southwark and Vauxhall Water Companies in 1845 and became part of the publicly owned Metropolitan Water Board in 1903. Now run by Thames Water.
