Looking southwards. The footpath continues on the left bank. A notice on the bridge stated:
"The River Gowy is graded as a site of Biological Importance for its aquatic and bankside flora and fauna. It is hoped that this stretch of the river will be inhabited by otter in the not too distant future..."
