This is the 'best' side of the building, with a little gable in the centre. It is now converted to apartments, like most of the mill buildings around here. The passage leads to the next yard, and also preserves the old packhorse route through the town.
Wood Brothers Engineering Works. My grandmothers brother inherited this factory when the last of the Wood brothers died during World war 1. My grandmothers brother got special leave to go to Britain to sort out the will. He was from a very small town near Katanning in Western Australia called Moojebing. Four of the five brothers from the one family went off to the 1st World War. The fifth brother joind the Second World war.
