Warehouses, Sowerby Bridge
On the left is No.2 Warehouse of 1778, the oldest surviving one. On the right the Salt Warehouse, built in 1797 after the Rochdale Canal was opened. It was used to store goods being transferred between the two canals. The warehouses are now all converted to apartments.
