SD1671 : Coast at North Walney

taken 16 years ago, 3 km from North Scale, Cumbria, England

Coast at North Walney
Coast at North Walney
Part of the National Nature Reserve. The reserve is a wild and remote place; a complex coastal site with a mixture of sand dunes, slacks, salt marsh, wet and dry heath and grassland. The foreshore is good for birds and the reserve has an important population of natterjack toads.
