London Cycle Superhighway no.7 (1)
Several cyclists homeward bound after office hours make use of the newly-opened "London cycle superhighway" on Southwark Bridge Road. These blue-surfaced wide cycle lanes are supposed to improve safety for cyclists as well as providing easy-to-follow routes in from the suburbs.
CS7 (Merton to the City)

One of the 12 new bicycle routes, Cycle Superhighways, announced in 2008 by Mayor Ken Livingstone, with the aim of creating continuous routes into central London by the end of 2012.

This route leads from Merton, via Colliers Wood, Tooting, Clapham, Stockwell, Kennington and Southwark Bridge into London.
