Markle Quarry, East Lothian : Gravel Cone on Quarry Floor
The interestingly shaped pile of gravel on an otherwise smooth quarry floor could qualify as modern landscape sculpture. To my mind it resembles a volcanic cinder cone breached by a new lava flow.
