This road leading south out of Fenwick is obviously popular with dog walkers. The road is followed by St Cuthbert's Way (Melrose to Lindisfarne), St Oswald's Way (Lindisfarne to Heavenfield near Hexham) and the Northumberland Coast Path which here run in common.
