NC5249 : Carn a' Mhadaidh Meallan Liath rockslide

taken 13 years ago, near to Carn a Mhadaidh [hill or Mountain], Highland, Great Britain

Carn a' Mhadaidh Meallan Liath rockslide
Carn a' Mhadaidh Meallan Liath rockslide
This is the rockslide mass, all neatly cracked up gridlike. The lower part has collapsed into a jumble of blocks, which is why there is a rare birchwood here - out of reach of the deer (or do they have folk memories of wolves lairs ?). View out to Kyle of tongue and a glimpse of Ben Loyal
