Chinese Bridge, Taymouth Castle
Chinese Bridge, Taymouth Castle
This three arch iron bridge was built by the 3rd Earl of Breadalbane in the mid 18th century as a private estate bridge over the Tay; it is now restricted to foot traffic. Its appearance is more suggestive of Tudor Gothic than Chinese bridge design.
