Tay Bridge, Aberfeldy
Sometimes called Wade's Bridge, this was built in 1773 to carry General Wade's Military Road over the Tay. It was designed by William Adam, has five arches and is 112 metres long: At only 4.5 metres wide, it is single track, controlled by traffic lights. At the time of its construction, it was the only bridge spanning the Tay - Earlier bridges at Perth and Dunkeld had been destroyed.
