A beautiful setting on the route of the Glentrool 7stanes "Big Country" ride. The spire in the foreground is a piece of public art designed by Colin Rose in 1997 as part of the "Art in the Galloway Forest Park" project. It stands 8 metres tall and is built from red earthen tiles.
