This windmill worked until 1928 and is still complete with its milling machinery. It is open to the public in the summer, at weekends and bank holidays.

Buttrum's Mill - Woodbridge

Buttrum's Mill is a grade II listed towermill in the Suffolk town of Woodbridge. Built in 1836, possibly a wedding present to its first owner, Pierce Trott, who married in the same year. It later passed onto the Buttrum family who ran it until it was damaged on the 11 October 1928. In the second world war it was used as an ammunition store. It was later bought and restored with help of the council. Inside are four pairs of stones, underdriven and also available to run under steam. Two governors help the miller control the quality of the flour. The mill is in a good state of repair and open several times a year. See LinkExternal link
