The museum of East Anglian Rural Life is a large museum complex dedicated to preserving the skills and items from East Anglia. It is located on the former Abbots Hall estate at Stowmarket, Suffolk. The large Abbots hall is now under restoration.
The site was secured in the 1960s, since then many items as well as buildings that have been preserved here. These include Edgars farmhouse, the Boby building, the forge, Alton watermill (and associated buildings) plus Eastbridge Windpump. There are many exhibits to suit all, from the industrialist interest to farm animals for the children.
