Emergency generators - Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Emergency generators - Queen Elizabeth Hospital
This is possibly one of the largest emergency generator houses I've ever seen. The exhaust pipes indicate the presence of 6 large diesel generators. The low building to the left is the 11 kV substation and there are no obvious power lines. This is actually separate from the main hospital and is quite unobtrusive. You would have to be lucky to get an impromptu glimpse in here.
