Farley Hospital
Farley Hospital
In 1681, Sir Stephen Fox, Farley’s most famous son and loyal companion to Charles II, endowed Farley Hospital. He also commissioned the building of the Church. Christopher Wren's master mason, Alexander Fort, oversaw the building of both, and it is unclear whether Wren had any direct involvement in the design of either building.
