In this view, Dumbuck Hill (NS4274 : Dumbuck Quarry) can be seen directly behind the trig point, with the escarpment (NS4376 : The Long Crags) of the Kilpatrick Hills extending to the left.

On the right, the double-peaked volcanic plug of Dumbarton Rock – Link – stands on the near shore of the River Clyde. Even from here, a large structure, the NS3975 : Remains of Ballantine's Distillery, is visible just to the left of the Rock.
