Geograph - photograph every grid square

In Dunbar the afternoon of Saturday 25th September 2010 was bright and breezy and there were several photographers out on the clifftop walk to photograph the incoming tide.

For several days the wind and weather had been coming from the North and North-east. On this coast such winds tend to produce large swells and drive the waves ashore. As we are still an hour and a half away from high tide the waves are breaking on the skerries and inter-tidal platform rather than the foot of the cliffs - thus producing the large area of seething surf.

In this view we are looking up the Firth of Forth towards the area around North Berwick, where the Firth narrows. The prominent distant landmarks are North Berwick Law (on the left) and the Bass Rock (on the right). Standing atop the headland on the left is a man taking photographs. I wonder if he is a fellow Geographer?
