Portsmouth Direct Line

The Portsmouth Direct Line runs between London Waterloo and Portsmouth, via Woking & Guildford. It was started in 1845 and completed in 1858, up to this the route to Portsmouth had been via Brighton or Eastleigh. Services are run by South West trains.
