NG1450 : Former sheepfold

taken 14 years ago, near to Lower Milovaig, Isle of Skye, Scotland

Former sheepfold
Former sheepfold
This ancient stone walled pen has a ruined building attached, and lies within a stone walled field system. The once cultivated land still resists the growth of heather, which is the predominant plant over the rest of the moor. Another view - NG1450 : Ruined farmstead.
