The city of Norwich viewed from St James Hill
St James Hill on the edge of Mousehold Heath offers panoramic views over Norwich. It is situated in a triangle between Britannia Road, Gurney Road and Kett's Hill. The tower of St Peter Mancroft can be seen at left. The tall brick tower marks the City Hall and prominently just left of centre is the Anglican Cathedral > Link. Below the cathedral, surrounded by tall trees, St Helen's church > Link can be glimpsed, and further in the distance (at right) is the tower of St Giles on the Hill > Link and behind it the Roman Catholic Cathedral. The church seen to the right of it is St Lawrence, the tower of which can easily be recognised by the pinnacle > Link at one of its corners.
