Reigh Pond, east end
Reigh Pond started life as a reservoir for Isabella Pit (Throckly Colliery), and its associated brick works and coke ovens. These were situated just east of this location. A fisherman here told me that the pond is home to many large chub and perch that are always keen to take offered food, except when it is offered on the end of a hook!
